About Us

The Atlanta Archivist is a public humanities, multi-media digital story-telling, and ethnographic archive project that engages and empowers heritage and immigrant communities and foreign-born residents who make the Metro Atlanta region their home and, in the process, make Atlanta a global city. We document and connect with the individuals and communities that are transforming Atlanta into a global metropolis, such as heritage and immigrant communities, foreign-born residents in a variety of professional fields, and thought and community leaders and various professionals engaged in the global community. We document everyday contributions and journeys through a podcast series, documentary film, digital archives, writing, and research and public presentations.
